These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of soa.run and the tools provided on this site. By accessing or using the services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

Services

soa.run provides simple, privacy-focused online tools for image and PDF processing. Tools may perform processing in your browser or on the server depending on the task.

No Account / No Login

The site does not require accounts or logins. There are no persistent user profiles maintained by soa.run unless explicitly implemented and announced.

Uploads & File Retention

Some tools may require you to upload files to the server to complete processing. Files that remain on the server for more than 30 minutes are deleted automatically. Whenever possible, processing is performed in the browser and files are never uploaded.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the services for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities, including distributing malware, violating intellectual property rights, harassing individuals, or attempting to bypass rate limits and security protections. Abuse may result in IP blocking or other protective measures.

Logging, Rate Limiting & Security

For operational security we collect minimal logs (timestamp, IP address, request URL, user-agent, processing time, and optional file size) and use Redis for rate limiting. These measures protect the service and other users. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Ads & Third Parties

Ads may be displayed to support the service. We may use third-party providers for hosting, content delivery, ads, and optional analytics. We do not sell personal data. Any data shared with providers is limited to what is necessary to provide the service.

Intellectual Property

All site content, designs, and code are owned by or licensed to the operator unless otherwise stated. You retain ownership of files you upload. By uploading files you grant soa.run a limited right to use the files solely for performing the requested processing and for short-term operational needs described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific results. Use the services at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, soa.run and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the services. Our aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid (if any) to use the service in the prior 12 months or USD 100, whichever is lower.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless soa.run and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the services.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the services for violations of these Terms or for any lawful business reason, including abuse or security threats.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of soa.run. If you are located outside that jurisdiction you agree that local laws may also apply. This is not legal advice — consult a lawyer if you need a jurisdiction-specific terms document.

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will post the date of last update below.
